MEN IN BLACK
The Men in Black (MIB) is a secret organization that is responsible for policing various aliens who live on Earth and keeping the aliens existence a secret from the general public by using neuralyzers to erase people’s memory of alien encounters. Agent D realizes he is getting old, so he has his partner Agent J erase his memory of having served in the MIB and suggests he finds a new partner. After NYPD officer James Darrell Edwards III discovers that aliens live among us he is recruited to join the MIB as Agent J and has the memory of his past life erased. They investigate why aliens are suddenly leaving the planet in masses. They find that “Edgar” (an alien bug you uses the skin of a human he has killed as a disguise) has stolen a powerful energy source from an Arquillian hiding in Brooklyn as pawnbroker Rosenberg. The Arquillians demand the energy source bereturned in one hour or they will destroy the Earth. K and J prevent Edgar (who has resumed his original form) from escaping, but Edgar swallows their weapons and then Agent K. Agent K finds his weapon inside Edgar and blasts his way out. Edgar attacks, but is killed by Laurel Weaver, a medical examiner who had helped Agents d and J earlier. Agent K retires after having his memory of having been in the MIB erased. On May 7, 1996 [1:29:15 – 1:39:45] Agent J replaces him and Laurel Weaver joins the MIB as Agent L.
