THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH

On November 15, 1999 [00:26 to 4:31] James Bond 007 is in Bilbao, Spain to retrieve money that Sir Robert King had paid for a report stolen from a dead MI6 agent.  The banker is killed, but Bond gets away with the cash. Back in London the funds are returned to King. Too late Bond figures out the money was booby-trapped. It explodes killing King. Bond chases the assassin, but she kills herself. The money is connected to Renard, an anarchist who had previously abducted Sir Robert’s daughter, Elektra for ransom. Bond goes to Azerbaijan to protect her and saves her from a hit squad in paragliders. Bond kills Davidov, Elektra’s head of security who is tied in with Renard and impersonates a Russian nuclear scientist at a former nuclear site in Kazakhstan. Renard steals a bomb, but Bond and American nuclear scientist Christmas Jones escape. A bomb in Elektra’s pipeline is revealed not be a nuclear bomb, but Elektra is in league with Renard and kidnaps M.   Bond learns from a former associate  Valentin Zukovsky that he has supplied a nuclear sub to Elektra. Jones deduces that Renard plans to cause the sub’s reactor to go critical, blocking the Bosporus and increasing the value of Elektra’s pipeline. Bond and Jones are captured. Jones is taken to the sub while Elektra tortures Bond. Zukovsky frees ond as he is dying. Bond frees M and kills Elektra. He boards the sub, frees Jones and together they stop Renard.
