THE PERFECT HUSBAND: THE LACI PETERSON STORY
Laci Rocha Peterson was a pregnant mother-to-be who disappears on Christmas Eve. Her husband Scott and her family search for Laci, but there are no signs of her anywhere. Months go by, and the media and the public begin to suspect that Scott murdered his wife. Laci’s parents support and defend Scott, until Scott's mistress Amber Frey comes forward at a press conference and admits to an affair with Scott. The Rochas start to doubt Scott's innocence, especially Laci's mother, Sharon, who had always believed Scott to be the perfect husband. Finally, the Rocha family publicly announce that they are against Scott. Months after she disappeared, the body of Laci and Scott's unborn son washes up on shore. The remains of a torso later identified as Laci wash up a few miles away from the baby's remains. The two are officially declared murdered. Scott is arrested. On May 4, 2003 a memorial service is held for Laci. [1:21:49 to 1:22:49]
A very sad story. You really feel for Laci and her son and come to despise Scott Peterson. He got what he deserved.
