TIMELINE
ITC has sponsored an archaeological
dig at Castlegard in France. The team consists of Dr. Edward Johnson, Kate
Erikson, Josh Stern, Francois Donatelle, Andre Marek, and Chris Johnston. They
find a sarcophagus of a knight with a lopped ear and his lady. Dr. Johnston
returns to ITC. The team later digs up his bifocals and a note from him dated
600 years ago. When they try to contact the Doctor at ITC they are told to go
to ITC. There they learn ITC has developed a way to travel back to Castlegard
in 1357. Dr. Johnston went there and became trapped. All the team except Josh
agree to go rescue him, along with Frank Gordon, ITC’s head of security and two
guards. They travel back to April 4, 1357 [28:51 to 1:44:08] They save Lady
Claire, but one of the guards is sent back with a primed grenade that explodes
and damages the teleportation machines. Francois is killed, but they find Dr.
Johnston and are jailed with him. Kate, Chris and Andre escape. A knight, DeKere reveals himself as a former
ITC employee, who was stuck in the past after time traveling too many times damaged
his DNA and he wants revenge. He kills Gordon. Kate, Chris and Andre save Lady
Claire thus changing history. Josh works to repair the teleportation machines in
the face of opposition by some at ITC who want to leave the team in the past to
avoid public embarrassment for the company.
After Andre’s ear is lopped off he realizes he is the dead knight and
wins a combat with Dekere. He recovers the tags that allow the others to return
to the future, while he stays to marry Claire. .
