SERPICO
Frank Serpico
moves from being a New York City policeman to being a detective on the force.
He soon discovers a secret world of payoffs and police corruption. He decides
to expose this and is harassed by his former colleagues. On February 3, 1971
[1:05 to 3:54 and 1:53:39 to 2:01:22] the incorruptible Serpico is shot in what
looks like a set-up by fellow officers. Serpico testifies about the corruption and
gets the NYPD’s Medal of Honor and retires on disability.
